Venn Diagram: Compare and Contrast Dog vs. Wolf
Description
The Play and Provocation Venn Diagrams are designed for the Early Childhood classroom to allow groups of children, directed by a teacher, to compare two sets of things during circle time or in other group settings. The Venn diagrams can also be used in other settings with older children as they are high quality images and allow for organized thought processing. Each download comes with two full Venn diagrams meant to be printed on three standard 8 ½ x 11 size pages. One is designed with full color realistic photographs of each animal. The second Venn diagram is meant to be printed in grayscale and designed with realistic black and white sketches of each animal. Six realistic color 5 ½ x 8 ½ images of the animals, as well as six black and white 5 ½ x 8 ½ sketches of the animal also come with this product. Laminating or using contact paper on the diagrams will give you the opportunity to use the printout more than one time or to allow the children to make notations on it themselves with dry erase markers once they are familiar with the diagram. The diagrams make great additions to any animal or pet discussions happening in your classroom and allow for displays to be presented to parents with the children’s ideas written on them. The additional larger images can also be used throughout your classroom to allow children to make informed scientific observations when they are working in different curriculum centers, such as in the block center, science area, dramatic play, or art center.
