“Saint Mike’s is a great school. The professors truly enjoy getting to know their students inside and outside of the classroom. One area in need of improvement is racial and cultural education. I believe all students should take a course on structural inequalities that exist in the United States.”

“I absolutely loved the Anthropology and Sociology department. They were extremely welcoming and constantly working towards wanting their students to succeed. The Professors were easy to access and were actively responsive with feedback. Campus life was manageable and the requirement for living on campus all 4 years positively impacted my college career. I would highly advise Saint Michael’s to anyone. Vermont is an amazing place and Burlington is a great place or a night out.”

“College was an incredible experience for me because it offered me my first real chance at freedom, which brought responsibility along with it. I learned how to travel, support myself, and make friends without the comfort of hometown connections. I learned that with hard work came great reward, and that learning could be fun and exciting. I entered the workforce with confidence upon graduating and have always looked at the future with optimism because of my experiences.”

“Although St. Michael’s College provides a substantially lower tuition with no hidden fees (gym, lab, etc) for graduate students, the school doesn’t offer any other incentives. The university does not accept the TEACH grant, nor does it have any scholarships available for the general graduate public. It was fairly difficult finding housing and settling in when moving from out-of-state, and there was no orientation for graduate students. An orientation is essential for providing a positive environment for incoming students. Overall, I appreciate that the tuition is lower for graduate students making it more accessible for those from lower economic backgrounds, but the atmosphere could be re-evaluated for the money we are putting into the school and program.”
