JUNE MUSICIANS: DJ JAX – influenced & inspired by the vibrant house music tradition, Jaxon is a multi-instrumentalist with a passion for piano & trumpet, and a member of the SLV junior high school band. During the pandemic, Jaxon found joy in deejaying & became motivated to share his love of music first through IG lives, & then, as the social & community health climates allowed, at in-person gatherings.
SANDRA j – a soulful & distinguished R&B/Hip Hop artist, Sandra is also a recent Masters’s degree graduate (congratulations!). A powerful vocalist, rapper, & multi-instrumentalist, Sandra J. (aka Shamma Mama) bestows on the audience conscious lyrical verses & light-hearted, uplifting tracks.

This artist-led project is crafted with the intention of fostering environments where creatives can cultivate sustainable networks & ignite access to fair & inclusive opportunities for artistic expression, development & advancement.
