The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program provides opportunities for students to demonstrate competence in the application of nursing knowledge and clinical judgments and behaviors in health care settings. The graduate from an ADN program is prepared to deliver safe and compassionate care for patients and their families. The nursing content prepares students to establish therapeutic relationships with patients and their families in the promotion, prevention, rehabilitation, maintenance, and restoration of health for individuals of all ages. The curriculum also promotes skills in nursing care supervision and management, and in providing care within legal and ethical parameters.

The ADN program has a 2-Year Track and a Bridging Track for LVNs or Paramedics to receive advanced placement in the program. Both of these options lead to an Associate of Applied Science degree and allow graduates to take the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
