Taking AP Music Theory this year? Thinking of taking it in the future?

All high school students are welcome! We will cover fundamental concepts, practice exercises that you can use all year for basic topics, and explore resources that will help you thrive throughout the course.

Instructor: Dr. Jocelyn Neal is Professor of Music at UNC Chapel Hill where she teaches music theory and analysis and is chair of the Department of Music. She is also a consultant who teaches AP Music Theory instructional workshops to high school teachers; she works on the Content Development Team that writes AP Music Theory exam questions and served for four years on the Test Development Committee.

Cost: Bring $5 for pizza and soda (or pack a lunch)
